We will never sell or knowingly distribute your personal information without your prior written consent, except where ordered to by law.

Privacy Policy and Procedures for Rp3 Enterprises, their subsidiaries,  and their authorized representatives

The ten principles of our privacy policy and procedures are in accordance with the ten principles set out by the Department of Justice Canada.

1. Accountability We take responsibility for personal information under our control, including personal information that is not within our custody. We have a Privacy Officer who is responsible for ensuring we comply with privacy legislation. 2. Identify Purposes for Collection If you do not know the purpose behind our request for your personal information, you can contact our Privacy Office for a more detailed explanation.

3. Obtain Consent for Collection, Use, Disclosure You give consent for us to collect, use and in limited cases, disclose your personal information.  If you do not give consent or if you need more information about our intentions, contact our Privacy Office.

4. Limit Collection Collection of your personal information is limited to that which is necessary for our business purposes. If you think we are collecting more than necessary, contact our Privacy Office.

5. Limit Use, Disclosure, Retention The use, disclosure, and retention of your personal information is limited to that which is necessary for business purposes. If you think we are using, disclosing, or retaining information longer than necessary, contact our Privacy Office.

6. Maintain Accuracy We want to keep your personal information as accurate, complete, and up to date as necessary. If you think we have personal information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, send your correction to our Privacy Office.

7. Maintain Safeguards We protect personal information based on the level of the information’s sensitivity.  If you have concerns about our levels of safeguarding, contact our Privacy Office.

8. Maintain Openness This policy was made to be easy to understand and readily available upon request. Direct any questions on further details, access requests, comments, concerns and complaints to our Privacy Office. Our Privacy Officer will respond as promptly as possible.

9. Provide Individual Access We will inform you about the existence, use, disclosure and retention of your personal information upon written request. The access to that information will be provided to you upon written request, whenever possible, and in a format that is easy to understand. Based on updates you provided, we will update your information promptly, when possible. Sufficient details to properly identify you must be provided to us before we can respond to requests to access or update information. If for any reason we cannot comply with your request within the legislated time limits, we will notify you about the situation whenever possible. If you have not heard from us within the legislated time limits, contact our Privacy Office for an explanation. We cannot control certain areas including (and not limited to) postal service, e-mail deliveries, ISP failures and environmental conditions.

10. Allow for Challenges When challenging our legal compliance, your first point of contact is through our Privacy Office. This Office responds to all such challenges and maintains a record of all challenges and outcomes. This Office may seek external advice before responding to you. This Office informs you about changes to the status of your complaint, including resolution. Are you unhappy with the way we resolved your challenge? You might want to contact the appropriate Privacy Commissioner for your province.
