Get to Know Renee Personally
Let me tell you a little bit about me, when I was growing up, I couldn’t decide if I wanted to be Amelia Earhart, Lucille Ball or Jessica Rabbit, I just knew that I had something to give to the community and the world. I simply didn’t know what it was I was going to give.
I spent much of my time as a kid, dream and creating elaborate stories in my head about what I was going to be when I grew up. As a kid I had the pleasure to be dancing, and touring my local province with a semi professional dance troupe. After a few years of trying out different things for jobs. I worked as a retail store manager, fashion merchandiser, fashion show planner as well as an event planner. I knew I always had an interested in the law so I decided to train to become a Legal Assistant, found out very quickly that I didn’t like working the way lawyers work! In the process though I completed a double diploma and also received training to become an administrative professional. I started my career working in a University setting, and learned quickly that I excelled at managing others schedule and life (grin). I was employed for close to 18 years in the corporate world working closely with C-Level executives at a variety of multi-million dollar companies.
My skills had me managing multi-million dollar budgets, connecting with executives all over the world, managing events, dinners and organizing personal parties for my managers. I found I excelled at getting people to participate in conversations and finding the answers to questions and situations quicker than anyone else in the office. I consider myself a bit of a gadget geek and I love trying out new technologies and using them to make either my clients or my life easier. I also learned that one of my natural talents is listening to others and helping them find the solutions they need to excel at what they do. It is about stepping in and taking care of the tasks that need to be do so you can do what you do best!
