We all know the importance of backing up our data, but how many of us really make a point of doing it? It usually becomes important to us right after our hard drive crashes and we can no longer get our data that has been lost.
I personal have an external hard drive that I back up my data to on a weekly basis, but to keep my self secure and save I also use a program called Syncplicity. The great thing about this program is once you have it set up it runs in the background and maintains all of the folders you set to back up. An additional feature that makes this web app great is you have the folders sync across computers. If you’re like me I use mulitple computers – for business and personal computers – but I like to have access to all of my files. Everything is current, and I always have access to the most current version. With me being the Google Fan that I am Syncplicity allows you to sync to your Google docs account! Love it!
The Business edition of the application allows for multiple users, which makes it easy for collaboration when you’re working in a team.
